Connective Technologies, Inc. Announces
TEAM-UP Download Contract
with Farmers Mutual Relief Association.
Houston, TX, (BusinessWire) August 7, 2007,
Connective Technologies announces signing of a contract
with Farmers Mutual Relief Association for licensing
and implementing TEAM-UP DownloadT. This application
provides once-and-done processing in an industry
compliant, data-secure environment for agency downloads.
Dan Oakes, General Manager and Secretary of Farmers
Mutual comments, "Providing TEAM-UP download capability
for our independent agency partners is another step
in our growth initiative. Our investment in automation
is a clear message that service to our agents and
ease of doing business are very high on our priority
list. With TEAM-UP Download we can offer a very
secure agency interface solution with real-time
functionality at a cost effective price."
Dic Marxen, CEO of Connective Technologies adds,
"Farmers Mutual Relief Association selected TEAM-UP
Download because of the enhanced functionality for
their independent agents, while meeting their internal
IT security requirements. TEAM-UP Download is a
high quality, industry-leading agency interface
offering adopted by both large and small carriers
and is the market leader in Internet download. Our
commitment to ongoing R&D, using TEAM-UP as the
platform, will enable Farmers Mutual to offer additional
real-time transactions as they expand their agency
base and grow their written premium."
TEAM-UP Download is an Internet-secure offering
being leveraged by more than 32 P&C carriers in
providing accessibility to over 22,000 communicating
agency pairs using more than 40 different agency
management systems throughout every region in the
United States. Now in its third major release, the
product has matured to ensure agencies have a seamless
migration from other download processes. The improved
self-reliant features such as single-policy, real-time
archival retrievals by the agents, improved group
management distribution and tracking features that
ease and accelerate the registration process for
both agencies and carriers, have been implemented
with TEAM-UP's Service Oriented Architecture. This
environment ensures a seamless fit into carriers'
existing agency portals, incorporates a single-process
entry point at the agency for accessing multiple
carriers downloads, and it eliminates 3rd party
compliance issues with Gramm-Leach-Bliley.
About Farmers Mutual Refief Association:
Farmers Mutual Relief Association was formed in
1874 by four farmers from Wyandot County who wanted
to share in each other's risks and was incorporated
in 1878. Farmers Mutual Relief Association has had
three other Mutuals merge into it since 1995 and
currently has over 70 agents writing for us. It
was realized in the early 1990's that technology
would play a major role in increasing our premium
and adding new agents to write their business with
us. The agent is our client. Without the agent,
Farmers Mutual Relief would not be where it is today.
With the advanced technology, our role in the industry
would be limited to a smaller marketing area. Farmers
Mutual Relief Association currently has agents in
the majority of the counties in Ohio.
