Connective Technologies Announces TEAM-UP Download with Merchants Insurance Group

Houston, TX (Business Wire) February 08, 2005, Connective Technologies, Inc., and Merchants Insurance Group, today announced the signing of a contract to provide TEAM-UP Download to Merchants' independent insurance agent network.

"In our continuing process of building solid relationships with our agents, we felt that we could provide better and faster service to our agents by using the real-time archiving features offered in TEAM-UP Download that are not available with our current download provider. Freeing up our help desk staff along with the elimination of mailbox and byte fees will yield significant expense reductions for Merchants," stated Dr. Clark Sykes, Merchants' Vice President - Information Technology.

"TEAM-UP Download is platform independent. The implementation into Merchants' iSeries infrastructure will be quick and won't have any impact on their daily workflow," said David Hahn, Connective's VP-Business Development. "Our installation of the product is designed to provide more functionality at a much more reasonable price than the current method most carriers utilize today."

There is no ACORD AL3 file re-certification required when utilizing TEAM-UP Download, allowing carriers to begin their rollout immediately.
