Connective Technologies, Inc. is a provider of eCommerce technology solutions to the property and casualty sectors of the insurance industry. Connective Solutions(SM) provide for the seamless interface and integration of Upload, Download, and Data Translation projects utilizing the TEAM-UP™ family of products.

Benefits
The TEAM-UP products were designed based on experiences learned during EDI and E-commerce implementations for P&C insurance carriers since 1993. The architecture of the TEAM-UP solutions allow carriers to get a greater return on the investments that carriers have already made in their web site and infrastructure. Reusing components of the carriers' existing web offering and infrastructure also provides for a much more cost effective solution with a faster time to market than alternative offerings.

Implementation of Connective's TEAM-UP Solutions follow a well-defined process for the analysis and identification of carrier specific business requirements that will enhance and extend the functionality of carrier web sites in order to provide better services to (and relationships with) their agencies. Connective's experience, along with the TEAM-UP products and plug-ins, allows for the rapid development of projects and a systematic approach to solving the myriad of challenges that can arise during the electronic exchange of information. Time-to-market is reduced considerably because of the extensive background Connective has in this market.

Vendor dependence is reduced through the use of non-proprietary technologies and platforms such as Java, XML, XSLT, and WebSphere. TEAM-UP Plug-ins for IBM's WebSphere Developer Studio allows Connective's developers to utilize pre-built workflow and ACORD objects to implement client solutions. Finally, our Client Support Facility provides priority technical and operational assistance for all users.

Connective Solutions allows carriers to capitalize on money already invested in a web site by bringing agents directly into contact with that site while still in the comfort of their existing agency management system. All of the "rich content" into a site is available to them. Duplicate entry of data is eliminated. Real time interface for your agents is achieved giving a true "Once and Done" process so that uploaded data can be rated and quoted during a single session. With our unique approach, business objectives are met with minimal resource requirements, limited up-front costs, and greatly reduced ongoing costs.

History
Connective began in 1990 with the mission of developing solutions for interface and integration. In 1993, Connective found that the implementation of interface was a much broader issue and began the enhancement of the original products, and subsequently, into the suite now known as Connective Solutions. Significant research and development effort was put forth designing, redesigning, developing, and beta testing the predecessor offerings of the current TEAM-UP offering.

In addition to our innovative solutions, Connective Technologies' experienced management team provides both insurance process knowledge and technological expertise. Most of Connective's development and support staff have accumulated an average of ten to fifteen years experience in various aspects of the insurance industry. Their knowledge of both carrier systems and virtually all major agency management systems provides a solid foundation upon which cost effective, efficient solutions are provided to clients. In addition, they have developed a reputation of providing solutions on time and on budget that meet or exceed client expectations. This team has developed successful Upload, Inquiry, and Download applications for both personal lines and commercial lines, including all transaction types.
